DOVER, N.H. (AP) — The city of Dover, N.H., is hosting guided walking tours of its historic downtown area.
The tours are being held every Saturday morning, starting this weekend, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
The tours include sites and anecdotes about the people, places and events that have helped shape Dover.
Among the features are the rise and fall of the textile industry, and famous visitors and residents of Dover's past. The city is America's seventh oldest permanent settlement.
Tours will be held by the local Chamber of Commerce through Aug. 25.
