This week's Sunday programming will ride the Olympics as closely as a speed-skating suit, with climate change, gay issues and Mitt Romney all hitting the ice. Expect Romney, the former presidential candidate who led the 2002 Olympic organizing committee in Salt Lake, to say Russia has spent too much money, a reported $50 billion and more than has ever been spent before on the Olympics and that the Games' spending should be limited to preserve its future. Romney mentioned that Salt Lake kept its budget under $3 billion because private sponsors paid for it, rather than the government.
