Perhaps working for a Super PAC, with the ability to raise limitless political funds, isn't so fancy pants after all. On Wednesday, pro-President Obama Super PAC Priorities USA co-founder Bill Burton reminded the audience at the Washington Ideas Forum that his group wasn't always flush with cash.

"When we started, we were so broke we spent months just doing meetings in the lobby of the Mayflower," Burton explained. "And when we finally did get office space we only had enough to sign a lease to go through October 31." Instead of paying to extend their downtown D.C. lease, they decided to come full circle. "So we spent the last few days before the election on the streets, basically," Burton said. "It all ended the way it started: homeless."
