Police are seeking information about a suspect in an armed robbery at a Northwest D.C. church.

About 12:30 p.m. Saturday, a man entered Saint Stevens Church, located in the 1500 block of Newton Street NW. He demanded money, ordered a victim to the ground and went through the victim's pockets -- taking money, a wallet, an iPhone and other personal property.

The robber also pointed a gun at another person who entered the room, D.C. police said.

The suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 20 years old and about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium complexion and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black mask, a striped, polo style short sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
