Is D.C. infested with bed bugs?

Pest-control company Orkin has released a list of the 50 cities with the worst infestations of bed bugs in the nation. Chicago grabbed the top spot for 2012 while Washington D.C. landed in the top 10 at No. 7. Orkin based their findings on the number of bed bug treatments in U.S. cities. In 2011, Washington D.C. was No. 8 on the list.

Who is baking the inaugural cake?

Baltimore celebrity baker Duff Goldman of 'Ace of Cakes' fame will be making President Obama's inaugural cake. Goldman's bakery Charm City Cakes announced Saturday it will bake the cake for the Commander-in-Chief's ball. It will be a tiered cake featuring the seals of each branch of the U.S. military and the presidential seal. Fondant bunting and stars and stripes will also be on the cake. What's the flavor? Guests will have a few options: red velvet, lemon poppy seed, pineapple coconut and pumpkin chocolate chip.

Where's the latest place you can see the Mona Lisa?

Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting the Mona Lisa can be seen by a new audience -- in space. NASA reportedly sent an image of the painting to the moon by using lasers as part of a test to develop the next generation of deep space technology. The laser beamed the digital image 240,000 miles from Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., to the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter in space to test the U.S. space agency's ability to communicate via laser.
