Did House Speaker John Boehner agree to raise taxes?

The Republican leader said he was open to considering new tax revenues as part of a broader negotiation to reduce the federal budget, which was widely interpreted to mean he'd give in to Democratic demands for a tax hike. But Boehner said the new revenue would have to be raised by closing tax loopholes, not by raising tax rates as Democrats propose. "Raising tax rates is unacceptable," he told ABC News.

Is another Bush family member getting into politics?

George P. Bush, son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and the nephew and grandson of two former presidents named Bush, filed papers in Texas indicating he may run for statewide office. The 36-year-old Fort Worth lawyer worked behind the scenes in Texas politics since 2006, including co-founding the Hispanic Republicans of Texas PAC. He filed papers to appoint a campaign treasurer, a requirement for any would-be candidate.

Did Navy SEALs disclose classified information to a video game-maker?

Seven SEALs, including a participant in the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, were disciplined for revealing to the maker of "Medal of Honor: Warfighter" information about specially designed combat equipment unique to their unit and for not getting permission to act as consultants on the video game project. The SEALs received letters of reprimand that are likely to derail their military careers.
