Why were so many United flights delayed on Thursday?

Thousands of United Airlines passengers were stranded at airports and on planes for several hours after a computer outage at the world's largest carrier.

It was at least the third major computer outage since June.

The outage, which lasted about two hours, prohibited dispatchers from sending flight information. A United spokesman said 20 percent of flights were delayed throughout the day; few were outright canceled.

What is the Museum of the American People?

The museum would be a building that would focus on the history of immigration and migration that formed the United States.

A coalition of 83 minority groups wrote a letter to President Obama on Wednesday asking him to create a presidential commission to establishing the museum in Washington. U.S. Rep. Jim Moran, D-Va., supports the museum, criticizing the trend toward building individual ethnic museums on the National Mall.

Which toys were inducted into the Toy Hall of Fame?

Dominoes and "Star Wars" action figures were inducted into the Hall of Fame on Thursday.

They join such notable toys as Monopoly (1998), Barbie (1998), the Easy-Bake Oven (2006) and the cardboard box (2005) on the 51-toy list.

The two toys beat out a field of 10 other finalists: Lite-Brite, green army men, Clue, the Fisher-Price Corn Popper push toy, Magic 8 Ball, the pogo stick, sidewalk chalk, Simon, tea set and Twister.
