OTSEGO, Minn. (AP) — Target Corp. will start selling a full selection of wine, beer and hard liquor at its store in Otsego (aht-SEE'-goh) this summer.
Target says liquor sales at the Otsego store will be part of a pilot program to provide customers with one-stop shopping. Minnesota Public Radio News (http://bit.ly/1qqmmqq ) reports the Ostego store apparently will be the first Target in Minnesota to sell any alcohol with more punch than 3.2 beer and other low-alcohol beverages.
Company officials declined to say whether alcohol will be available at other stores in Minnesota.
The Minneapolis-based retailer currently sells beer, wine and spirits at more than 1,300 stores across the country, following local regulations. Target began selling alcohol in 1996.
