Taylor Swift says she's too young to tell people who to vote for

The one man in her life Taylor Swift won't be writing a song about: the one she supports for president. The songstress will not be endorsing a candidate, she tells NPR's Guy Raz.

"A lot of people tell me that when they were 22, they thought they had it all figured out, but they didn't," said Swift. "I just feel like I don't have enough wisdom about myself as a person yet to go out there and say to 20 million followers on Twitter, and these people on Facebook, and whoever else is reading whatever interview I do, 'Vote for this person.' "

It doesn't hurt that with a polarized electorate, any endorsement by Swift will alienate half her fans. Whether it's a calculated marketing move or a principled decision, we appreciate any celebrity who spares us political posturing.
