Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, signaled that he was pleased Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., was again talking about repealing Obamacare.
Cruz responded to McCain's comments on Wednesday night after Fox News host Sean Hannity highlighted a Nov. 13 video clip of McCain calling for a "total repeal" of Obamacare.
"I agree with John McCain and I'm glad we're on the same page," Cruz said after Hannity asked him to respond.
Cruz added that he wouldn't hold it against any Republicans who agreed with him, even after the divisive fight among his Senate colleagues during the push to defund Obamacare.
"You know what the great thing is, success has a thousand fathers, failure is an orphan," Cruz said. "I am happy for everyone in the Republican party who wants to, to claim success and parentage for us coming together and repealing Obamacare, because it isn't working and the more who come together the better chance we're gonna have of actually successfully empowering the American people."
