Suspects sought in Lewisdale teen's murder
Police are searching for multiple suspects involved in a shooting that left an 18-year-old Lewisdale man dead.

Police say Meyder Bladimir Yuman was found shot to death at about 7 p.m. Thursday in the 2200 block of Lewisdale Drive in Lewisdale.

The suspects exited a four-door tan Toyota Corolla and approached the victim as he walked down 24th Avenue, detectives believe. A confrontation erupted and Yuman was then shot.

Officers found him outside. He was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

No suspects have been identified, though police are looking for the car, which has Maryland license plates.

Anyone with information can call Prince George's County police at 301-772-4925.

Sexual assault attempt made inside D.C. school
An unidentified man allegedly tried to sexually assault a woman inside a private school in Southeast, according to police.

Police said the man attacked the woman -- who was a school employee -- at about 6:40 a.m. Thursday in the Naylor Road School, located in the 2400 block of Naylor Road SE. He grabbed the woman but she fought him off and ran away, according to police.

The Naylor Road School teaches children from preschool to eighth grade. Police did not say whether children were in the building at the time of the attack or in what part of the school it occurred.

Officials from the school could not be reached on Saturday.

Police describe the attacker as a black male with a dark complexion, about 25 to 25 years old and about 6-feet, 2-inches tall with a stocky build. He had a full beard and was last seen wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt and grey pants.

Anyone with information should call D.C. police at 202- 727-9099.
