Police in Prince George's County said a 16-year-old boy died early Sunday after being shot while walking from a home in Fort Washington to a car.

Authorities said police found Marcus Antonio Jones, who lived on Swan Creek Road East, shortly after midnight Sunday with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Police did not immediately identify a suspect in the shooting on the 7700 block of Webster Lane, but officials said they are reviewing "substantial leads."
