D.C. man arrested for attacking two women
A Northwest D.C. man has been charged with attacking two women in the District, police announced.
Demarco Myles, 19, was arrested and charged with intent to commit first-degree sexual assault while armed after attacking a woman in Northeast D.C.
Myles forced his way into an apartment on the 2300 block of Washington Place NE shortly before 2 p.m. on Oct. 26, according to police. The victim was stabbed multiple times, but fought off Myles, police said.
He was also charged with first-degree sexual assault while armed for attacking a woman in a Howard University dorm room with knife on the 2200 block of 4th Street NW on Friday afternoon.
He has since been charged with assault with intent to kill while armed, police said Saturday.
Suspect sought in P.G. County robbery
Authorities in Prince George's are looking for a man who robbed a woman of her Veterans Affairs check.
The man followed the woman to her car after she had cashed the check at a business on the 8700 block of Branch Avenue on Oct. 26. He approached her from behind with a handgun and demanded money, according to police.
He then forced the woman to drive him several blocks away where he exited the vehicle near Suitland Road and Regency Parkway.
