The husband of a pregnant woman who was found killed in a fire at a Reston apartment has been found dead in Texas.

Jennifer Pearson, 38, was found Monday by firefighters inside a smoke-filled apartment on the 12000 block of Waterside View Drive, Fairfax County police said.

Pearson's husband, whose name has not been released, was found dead Tuesday in Bandera County, Texas. Authorities are investigating his death as an apparent suicide.

The wife suffered possible gun or knife wounds to her upper body.

N. Va. truckers hauled pot in fruit, furniture
Two Northern Virginia men have been arrested in a massive marijuana-smuggling operation.

Francisco C. Vargas-Aquino, 48, of Manassas, and Ricardo Valdez, 47, of Gainesville, are accused of smuggling tractor-trailers full of marijuana -- with a street value of tens of millions of dollars -- from Mexico to Prince William County, federal prosecutors said.

The marijuana was allegedly concealed in frozen fruit pulp and furniture parts.

Both men face 10 years to life in prison.

Gym teacher charged with trespassing
A Montgomery County middle school gym teacher was charged with trespassing after police found him sleeping in the locker room early Friday.

Benjamin J. Morey, 35, of Gaithersburg, was found after the alarm went off at Redland Middle School in Rockville about 2 a.m.

He was charged with fourth-degree burglary and resisting arrest after authorities determined he did not have permission to be in the school that early.
