Two men were killed in Prince George's County Saturday afternoon when a motorcycle hit a pedestrian in Suitland.

Prince George's police said the accident occurred near the 3900 block of Branch Avenue, between Saint Barnabas and Iverson roads, just before 4 p.m. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 40-year-old Jonathan Evans, of Lorton, Va. The pedestrian was identified as 64-year-old Harry Lee, of Clinton, Md.

Authorities said the accident occurred in the southbound lane of Branch Avenue. Lee, who was homeless, was pronounced dead at the scene, while Evans was taken to Southern Maryland Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said it appeared Lee was not in the crosswalk when he was crossing Branch Avenue.
