Woman found dead in Glenarden
A woman was fatally shot Sunday morning in Glenarden in Prince George's County, police report.

The Glenarden Police Department received reports of gunshots at 8435 Hamlin St., at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday. Officers arrived to find a woman dead from a gunshot wound. The woman's identity has not been released.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, according to a statement released Sunday.

Prince George's County Police referred questions to the City of Glenarden Police Department, who could not be reached.

Argument ends in stabbing in Adams Morgan
A man was stabbed following an argument in Adams Morgan early Sunday morning, D.C. police report.

The victim was found conscious and breathing on the 2300 block of 18th Street Northwest, between Kalorama and Belmont roads, at about 2:15 a.m., according to police spokesman Officer Anthony Clay.

The victim told police he was stabbed after getting into a "verbal altercation" with an unknown black man, Clay said.

The assailant, who is still being sought, was described as 5 feet 9 inches, weighing 140 pounds, with a dark complexion and braids and wearing dark clothing.

Man shot in Wheaton Saturday night
Montgomery County police are on the hunt for three culprits in a robbery-turned-shooting in Wheaton Saturday night.

At 11:24 p.m. off-duty police found a man who had been shot in the leg on the 10800 block of Bucknell Drive, just south of the Wheaton Metro station, according to police spokesman Capt. Paul Starks.

The man had apparently been walking in the area when he was approached by three black men. When he tried to walk away, he was grabbed, forced to the ground and robbed, Starks said. When he tried to run, he was shot in the leg.

The Montgomery County Police Department has yet to make an arrest in the incident.
