Eddie's one-night stand goes terribly wrong

The Finchmeister got into a bit of a pickle Wednesday night. The "American Pie" actor -- his real name is Eddie Kaye Thomas -- called the police to report that a female house guest threatened to kill him with a knife, sources told TMZ.

According to TMZ, SWAT responded to the call but were unable to get the woman out of the house for several hours. They finally succeeded in smoking her out -- with tear gas.

The unnamed female was taken into custody and charged with felony vandalism -- she apparently not only scared Eddie s--tless but trashed his place, including a phone and a guitar.

The best part? Eddie had just met the woman less than 24 hours before this whole thing went down. They reportedly met at Mel's Diner before Eddie invited her back to his place for you-know-what.

Finch, you should probably just stick to Stifler's mom. She's always down for a good time and has never pulled a stunt like this.
