Mario Lopez to be second-time father

Newleyweds Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza are ecstatic to become parents ... again. The couple, who wed in December, began dating in 2008 and already have a 2-year-old daughter, Gia.

How else to break the big news but on TV? The "Saved by the Bell" alumnus and his "Extra" co-host, Maria Menounos, dropped a number of baby-themed hints throughout the show, with the final one being daughter Gia wearing a T-shirt that read, "Big Sister Gia." With his wifey by his side and his No. 1 bundle of joy in his arms, Mario, grinning from ear to ear, announced, "The Lopez family is having another baby!"

Following the big announcement, the happy couple were thrown an impromptu baby shower, with treats and gifts for both parents. For Courtney, it was an ivory maternity dress from Rosie Pope, of Rosie Pope Maternity and Bravo's "Pregnant in Heels." And for Mario, something that should come in handy now that he's going to have start changing diapers in his sleep (if he ever gets any): "A book, so you can brush up on all the things that you've forgotten," said Rosie.

While the parents know what to expect the second time around, little Gia may be in for a bit of a surprise. When asked by Dad whether she wanted a "brother or a sister," " ... or a monkey?" Maria chimed in, Gia chose the furry one, which came out sounding a bit like "money."

Mario told Us Weekly that they're "trying to explain it to [Gia], so now she points at Courtney's belly and says, 'Baby baby!' Once mama really starts popping out I think she'll understand more."

But for a definitive answer, Courtney bit into a gender-reveal cupcake from Sprinkles to reveal that she'll be having ... drum roll, please ... a girl!

Check back in September to find out if Mario will still be the man of the house (with three girls, eek!), or if he'll get to share the role with a son.

Britney's back in the saddle -- er, golf cart

So long, Jason, helloooo David. Who's David, you ask. No clue. As first reported by TMZ, the "Till the World Ends" singer, who ended her relationship with fiance Jason Trawick just a few short weeks ago, was seen golfing with a "normal" guy named David over Valentine's weekend. According the TMZ, David, 27, does "field research" for a law firm but is not a lawyer. Too bad, Brit, that could have come in handy in the future.

After a less-than-30-minute Valentine's dinner date at a sushi place, the two met up over the weekend for a round at Sherwood Country Club, where Britney lives. Apparently, David is big into golf and was showing Britney some moves.

So are Sean Preston and Jayden James going to get a stepfather after all? It may be too early to tell, but Britney sure isn't wasting any time.

Say what?
