Jamie-Lynn talks pregnancy cravings

Jamie-Lynn Sigler is taking full advantage of her pregnancy -- to eat lots and lots of one bad food that most health-conscious celebs would never dream of consuming. And she's not afraid to admit it.

Us Weekly spoke to Jamie-Lynn last week at the What a Pair! Benefit Concert in Santa Monica, Calif., where she unabashedly told the gossip site that she eats McDonald's cheeseburgers "every day if I can get to [them]."

Wow, that's a lot of burgers.

The 31-year-old "Sopranos" actress, who's expecting her first child, a boy, with fiance Cutter Dykstra, told Us that "the first few months [of my pregnancy] were not fun. I got hit pretty hard, but I feel fantastic now. It's the most natural thing your body can do. I have no part in anything that's happening with the baby. I'm just kind of a vessel, so it really is a miracle, and it really is an exciting time."

She's also gotten some helpful advice from friends who've told her, "[There's] no specific milestones you need to hit, you don't need to look a certain way, you don't need to feel a certain way, just listen to your body. I've really been doing that. If I don't feel like doing anything, I won't. If I feel like eating something, I will. I haven't read a single pregnancy book or anything. I'm just letting it happen."

Seems like the actress is taking a pretty laid-back approach to her pregnancy, which is kind of refreshing since most celeb moms these days seem to be hypervigilant and overly protective of their kids -- ahem, ahem, Gwyneth Paltrow making her kids adhere to a strict, low-carb, gluten-free diet.

And Jamie-Lynn's burger diet seems to be working wonders. She was simply glowing and more gorgeous than ever in a black sequined dress at the benefit last week.

A birthday at the hospital

It may not be the best birthday that the Wanted's Nathan Sykes ever has. On Thursday, the birthday boy, who's turning 20, will undergo surgery on his throat, Us Weekly reports.

Nathan's reps put out the following statement: "We can confirm that The Wanted's Nathan Sykes will under go specialist throat surgery on Thursday, April 18, in Los Angeles and, as such, will be taking unforeseen hiatus from The Wanted. The priority for Nathan, his label and management is that he is given time to recover and receive the best treatment possible. The remaining four members of The Wanted will continue fulfilling the band's promotional commitments across the world."

The band's four other members -- Jay McGuiness, Max George, Tom Parker and Siva Kaneswaran -- posted a note on their Facebook page wishing Nathan good luck: "Our lil Nath has to go in for an operation on his throat, on his birthday to make him better. So please join us in wishing our brother and our friend well. Get well soon Nath, we love ya!"

Aww, how cute.

Say what?

"I don't know what her problem is. I think she's nuts right now, like, whatever's going on, because for me, it doesn't make any sense. She has a lot of good things going on with herself. A lot of good things, I've always said I've been happy for her. I don't get it. I really don't, but I wish her well. I wish her positivity." - Ciara, discussing Rihanna in an interview with Wild 94.9 radio
