The Buzz: Khloe Kardashian kicked off 'X Factor'

Khloe Kardashian is out of a job -- well, at least one job. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star will not be returning to host "The X Factor" for the show's third season, TMZ reports.

There were rumors back in February of Khloe not being asked back to the show, but it had not been confirmed by "The X Factor" until now.

According to a statement from Fox, "We really enjoyed working with [Khloe] and wish her all the best in her future endeavors."

If you "really enjoyed" working with her, then you would not be giving her the boot.

More likely, the network -- and the audience -- realized Khloe is not cut out for hosting and cannot read a teleprompter to save her life.

Co-host Mario Lopez, however, will be returning to the show in the fall, as will judges Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato.

Simon was uncharacteristically nice in a statement about Mario, saying, "I'm thrilled Mario is back for Season Three of 'The X Factor.' Hosting a live show and keeping the judges -- especially Demi -- in line, is not an easy job, but Mario is a pro, and we are glad he's coming back," the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Too bad for Khloe, but she still has a bazillion other projects that should keep her afloat financially -- not to mention that her husband is L.A. Clippers player Lamar Odom. 'Nuff said.
