Ozzy fesses up to doing drugs again
Grammy Award-winning rocker Ozzy Osbourne's life has been going down, down, down.
Early this week, sources told TMZ that Ozzy and his wife of 31 years, Sharon, had split up and are living separately. And then on Monday, the 64-year-old Ozzy admitted to all of his fans on Facebook that "for the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs. I was in a very dark place and was an a--hole to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober."
The rocker has been down this road before, so there's no telling how committed he actually is to getting sober or how long it will last. But we're crossing our fingers.
The Black Sabbath frontman cleared up any rumors of an impending divorce with his wife, but conspicuously did not address the split that many sources are confirming: "Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I'm just trying to be a better person."
He finished his message with an apology: "I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behavior during this period.........and my fans. God Bless, Ozzy."
Ozzy got an outpouring of support from his fans on Facebook, which will hopefully help to lift his spirits during this difficult time.
The last we heard, sources close to the couple told TMZ that Sharon is currently living at the Beverly Hills Hotel, while Ozzy is living in a house several miles away.
Off the deep end
Just when we thought Amanda Bynes couldn't get any more strange, she's done it. She's gone completely cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.
On Monday, the "retired" actress posted a bizarre video on Twitter with the caption "I'm Sucking On A Sour Patch Kid Listening To Music Getting Ready For Tonight :D"
During the minute-long video -- set to techno music -- Amanda is seen holding her phone while blinking rapidly, raising and lowering her eyebrows and pursing her lips. She appears dazed, with her eyes half-closed, and at several points during the video, it looks as if she is talking to someone. (No one else appears on camera.)
Dr. Carole Lieberman, a former psychiatric resident at Bellevue Emergency Room, told HollywoodLife.com that "the video is very suggestive of someone who is psychotic. Amanda seems to be making faces at, and talking to, some unseen person. And, although it's possible that there is actually a person off-camera, it seems more likely that she is having an auditory or visual hallucination."
Carole voices her intense concern for the former child star, saying, "Amanda's behavior has gone beyond eccentric or the usual Hollywood starlet bids for attention. She has been increasingly manifesting symptoms of a serious psychiatric disorder, which may include a combination of alcohol abuse, drug abuse and mental illness such as schizophrenia or manic-depressive illness."

"[I] was in my dressing room, and I had just finished performing. They knocked on my door and they said Brad Pitt would like to come in and I was like, 'He can come in.' I was trying to play cool and be really nice. As soon as he walked out, I ran and I hid under the craft service table for like two minutes because I couldn't believe it was happening." - Selena Gomez, telling Ellen DeGeneres how she reacted to meeting Brad Pitt
What the stars are tweeting
"Amazing 2 have been part of SNF -- an honor. I've just let everyone there know it's time 2 let someone else rock the open." - @FaithHill (country singer Faith Hill), on her decision to leave "Sunday Night Football." She followed her tweet with, "....Difficult decision. Kinda emotional. Love all u guys at SNF -- I'll b watching!!!"
