The Ron Paul “tribute” video: He ‘was Tea Party, before there was a Tea Party’

The RNC didn’t let Ron Paul speak at the convention, as he refused to turn his delegates to Mitt Romney.

Instead the Republicans showed a Ron Paul “tribute video” which is posted above.

“Ron Paul was Tea Party, before there was a Tea Party,” Sen. Jim DeMint said, who admits in the video that when he first came to Congress he thought Paul was “nuts.”

The tribute failed to touch any of Paul’s controversial views on foreign policy – which differ starkly from the establishment Republican leadership.
