Three men were killed in a collision in Howard County, police said.
The crash occurred at about 6 a.m. Thursday on U.S. Route 1 near Meadowridge Road in Elkridge. Investigators believe that a speeding Chevrolet Impala struck the side of a tractor trailer that was trying to make a left turn across northbound Route 1.
Three men inside the Chevrolet died, Howard County police said. The tractor trailer's driver, a 58-year-old man, was not injured.
