Tiger Woods, once again, has swung his way into the record books. The 37-year-old golfer became the first person to drive a ball from Europe into Asia by way of the Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul on Tuesday. Standing on a large makeshift tee, Woods successfully managed to launch several little white spheres across the suspension bridge that links the two continents despite some occasional strong crosswinds. "To be the first golfer to do this was very cool," Woods said afterwards. The unique stunt was designed to draw attention to the Turkish Open that starts on Thursday. Woods will be the only non-European golfer to be competing.
