Even among couch potatoes, Tony Horton is becoming a household name, thanks to the fact that vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan prescribes to Horton's P90X workout regiment. But Horton tells Yeas & Nays that he wasn't expecting the burst of campaign related fame.

"It's funny because when Paul Ryan was the pick recently, we were sitting there watching it. I was with my girlfriend and she said, 'you know, you might get a couple of calls as a result of this.' I said, 'oh no, I don't think anybody -- why would they call me? That seems silly,' " Horton recalled. "And I've probably done over 30 interviews [about it] since."

Horton spent Thursday morning doing a workout with staff and friends of the Canadian Embassy, Horton's first ever embassy trip, and then moved on to the Navy Pier for a public workout, and finally the Pentagon. What's not part of this Washington trip is a workout with Congress, with or without Ryan. "He's on the trail and he's doing it in the hotel room apparently," Horton explained. "He's usually the one who drives the workouts at the House gym."
