Losses Saturday night by the top-two teams, Kansas State and Oregon, altered the BCS scramble. Who is in the hunt for the BCS title game now?

5. Florida State » The Seminoles' loss to N.C. State knocked them out of the discussion for good reason. But a case could be made for Florida State with a victory Saturday against one-loss Florida and a win in the ACC title game -- provided Notre Dame loses to USC.

4. Oregon » If Stanford stumbles Saturday at UCLA and Oregon goes on to win the Pac-12 title, the Ducks will be waiting for the call just in case.

3. Georgia »

The Bulldogs are in the SEC title game regardless. But what happens if they lose Saturday to Georgia Tech? Would the BCS accept an SEC champion with two bad losses, including 35-7 at South Carolina?

2. Alabama »

Victories over Auburn on Saturday and against Georgia in the SEC title game would send the Crimson Tide to Miami, giving them a chance to win the national title for the third time in the last four years and extend the SEC's championship streak to seven. That's quite a difference from a week ago, when Alabama seemed all but out of it.

1. Notre Dame »

The Fighting Irish's version of a conference championship game comes Saturday at USC. Win and they're playing for the national championship for the first time since winning a de facto title game over West Virginia in 1988.
