Toyota (NYSE: TM) has voluntarily recalled approximately 245,000 Lexus vehicles in the U.S. due to a possible problem with installations of the fuel pressure sensor, reports the Chicago Tribune. The recalled models are the 2006-2007 GS 300 and GS 350, 2006-2009 IS 250 and 2006-2008 IS 350.The automaker cited potential loosening of the fuel pressure sensor, which could cause fuel to leak past a gasket connecting the sensor and the fuel delivery pipe, as the reason for the recall, although no accidents related to the defect have been reported. The recall will send the cars back to Lexus dealers for inspections and adjustments at no charge.
