South Carolina Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy says President Obama deserves a second Nobel Prize for his attempts to make signing up for Obamacare seem simple despite healthcare.gov's chronic failures.

Speaking with Fox News host Megyn Kelly on “The Kelly File,” Gowdy said that for Obama to tell people to sign up for the exchanges by phone when he knew the phone number just sent people to the failing website was a “facade.”

“It’s a facade. It’s one of several facades, Megyn,” Gowdy said. “The president already has a Nobel Prize for peace, I think he’s shooting for one in fiction.”

Gowdy said the point of Obama’s insistence that people could sign up for the exchanges by phone was to “create this appearance that everything is going swimmingly when you know otherwise.”
