A new D.C.-based drama is in the works. According to Deadline, Fox has bought "America's Son," a soapy political thriller based on "Hamlet," promising murder, revenge and a "renegade JFK Jr. type." "America's Son" comes on the heels of "White House Confidential," an "upstairs-downstairs-type soap" featuring a female doctor with a secret, recently acquired by NBC. Someone better get amnesia and come back from the dead in one of these, or we'll be disappointed.
