Two 30-year-old men who may have been co-workers at a special education school in the District were killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Takoma Park, officials said.

At about 1:45 a.m. Sunday, police were called to the 7300 block of Flower Avenue where they found the bodies of the men lying in a home's driveway. Both of the bodies had gunshot wounds, according to the Takoma Park Police Department.

The men have been identified as David Draa, of Takoma Park, and Steven Kyle Hickman, of the District. A police spokeswoman said that she did not know which man's death was a homicide and which one was a suicide.

Police believe that Draa and Hickman were friends and co-workers at a school. There is no indication that the men were hostile to each other before the shooting, and police had not yet determined why the shooting had occurred late Sunday afternoon.
