Two people died in a fiery crash in Prince George's County early Friday morning, police said.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m., a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro was traveling southbound on Baltimore Avenue when it crossed the double yellow lines near Powder Mill Road and struck a tow truck head on. The Camaro burst into flames upon impact, trapping one of the occupants inside and ejecting the other, according to Maryland State Police.

Both of the Camaro's occupants were pronounced dead at the scene. The tow truck's driver was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
