LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — The University of Arkansas-Little Rock has announced it will receive a $750,000 grant from NASA for a robotics programs
The university said Wednesday that the three-year grant will be used for work on robot vision systems for vehicles on the moon or Mars.
UALR is one of the 17 research colleges and universities sharing in a total grant of $12.6 million for the project.
The navigation system is intended to reduce shadowing problems in the current system.
