BOSTON (AP) — University of Massachusetts Boston is holding a festival to highlight the work of student playwrights.

One play is about a young woman who claims to be a murderer.

Another play is about three friends who console a buddy is who left at the altar.

One script centers on a war veteran who goes in search of a family heirloom.

Another tells the tale of a family that has to confront prejudices when a relative's boyfriend comes to dinner.

The plays will be performed at the school in early March.
