University of Michigan to host Robotics Day event


ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — The University of Michigan plans to show off autonomous systems and robotics research at its annual Robotics Day.

The seven-hour event takes place Thursday at Michigan's North Campus Research Complex in Ann Arbor.

Robotics Day is designed to showcase the latest technology coming out of the University of Michigan, other schools in the state as well as in government and industry in the region.

A series of panel discussions are to explore how robots and autonomous technology could transform the supply chain, transportation and health care.
