ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — The student newspaper of the University of New Mexico has released a new mobile app.

The Daily Lobo recently made public a free iPad app joining a growing number of college newspapers targeting students using tablets and smartphones.

Jim Fisher, director of UNM student publications, says developers are still working to fix a few bugs in the app. He said developers also are working on an app for Android tablets and those using HTML 5.

The New Mexico Daily Lobo has served as the independent newspaper on campus since 1895.
