Ann Romney made an unexpected stop in Colorado today after her airplane “filled with smoke.”

“Ann Romney plane makes emergency landing in CO. All okay. Thank goodness,” Andrea Saul, Mitt Romney’s campaign press secretary, tweeted. “[A]pparently the plane filled with smoke,” she added.

The Washington Examiner contacted the Romney campaign for more details.

Update: “Cause of @AnnDRomney emergency landing, apparently an electrical fire,” Saul tweeted.
