SALT LAKE CITY — Gov. Gary Herbert has already raised about $675,000 from his annual fundraising gala scheduled for Friday night in downtown Salt Lake City.
Herbert's campaign adviser Liv Moffat says comedian Jeff Foxworthy is headlining the event, which will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
The Deseret News reports event tickets start at $500 and corporate sponsors are paying anywhere from $5,000 to $25,000 for a table.
Herbert is currently searching for a replacement lieutenant governor and potential 2016 running mate after Lt. Gov. Greg Bell announced Monday that he was resigning for financial reasons.
Herbert said Monday that he has not decided whether he will run again in 2016.
