RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginians who drive hybrid vehicles could soon be paying lower taxes.
The Virginia Senate voted 37-1 Thursday to repeal a $64 annual fee on hybrids.
The tax was part of a massive transportation funding bill passed last year. It was originally set at $100 but reduced by former Gov. Bob McDonnell to $64.
