DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden will campaign in North Carolina's Research Triangle region as part of President Obama's continued effort to draw out differences between him and presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

The Obama campaign announced Friday details of Biden's trip to Durham on Monday. The campaign already had announced earlier this week that Biden would visit the state but hadn't said where.

The midday event will be held at the Durham Armory. The public can attend by picking up tickets Saturday morning at Obama campaign offices in Cary, Chapel Hill, Raleigh and Durham.

Biden's visit will come one day after Romney is scheduled to make stops in Mooresville, High Point and Morrisville as part of a two-state bus tour.
