The man who was fatally shot in Hillcrest Heights on Wednesday evening has been identified as a 49-year-old District resident.
About 7 p.m. Wednesday, Prince George's County police found Juan Renaldo Brown outside an apartment building in the 3900 block of 23rd Parkway. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Detectives are still working to determine identify a suspect or suspects in the case.
