Sen. Jeanne Shaheen D-N.H. explained today during the Senate Armed Services vote today that she wished former Sen. Chuck Hagel had been “feistier” during his hearing.
“I think while I appreciate the concerns that have been raised about Senator Hagel, and I certainly would like to have seen him be much more . . . much feistier at his hearing,” Shaheen said.
