The House Homeland Security Committee met Wednesday to discuss the need to fend off the ever-growing cyber threat facing the country.

The committee's meeting, originally scheduled for earlier this month, comes just days after Attorney General Eric Holder announced charges against members of the Chinese military for hacking American companies.

The Chinese have denied those allegations, but the House panel Wednesday insisted that cyber threats are coming from countries like China, Russia and Iran.
