The White House this morning releases two new public service announcements featuring First Lady Michelle Obama and Big Bird.

The video advertisements attempt to convince American children to eat their fruits and vegetables and stay active by dancing and jumping.

One of the spots features Big Bird and the First Lady looking for snacks in the White House kitchen, discovering a big bowl of apples, peppers, and oranges.

"Gee," says Big Bird, "I bet you could get just everything you want in this kitchen."

"But you know what I like to reach for?" replies Michelle Obama. "Healthy colorful snacks like juicy fruits and crunchy vegetables."

The second video features Big Bird running and jumping in the White House as the First Lady encourages children to spend time exercising every day.

Michelle Obama is launching a two day nation-wide tour celebrating the third anniversary of her ‘Let’s Move’ anti-obesity campaign by showcasing progress around the country, including appearances with comedian Jimmy Fallon, cooking show host Rachael Ray, tennis legend Serena Williams, and Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas.
