President Obama welcomed riders to the White House on Thursday morning as part of the seventh annual Wounded Warrior Project's Soldier Ride to the White House.

Obama was joined by Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki.

Shinseki noted that the VA's disabilities claim backlog has decreased by 45 percent since March of last year, and Obama vowed to continue working to get veterans access to health care for themselves and their families
