During her speech at George Washington University, it appeared obvious that actress Ashley Judd really wanted to run for Senate in Kentucky.

“Is there an elephant in the room?” she asked the students when one of them mentioned her rumored interest in electoral politics.

Although the speech was about Women’s Reproductive Health, the actress spent most of her opening remarks highlighting her biography.

The daughter of county singer Naomi Judd and sister of Wynonna Judd  dropped several references to her Kentucky heritage and used the words ‘y’all,’ ‘mamaw,’ ‘kin,’ and both ‘fellow’ and ‘feller.’

She also couldn’t resist reminding the audience that she was once of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood, spent a lot of time with Bono, and wintered in Scotland.

Will Ashley Judd run for Senate in Kentucky? Watch this video and decide for yourself.
