Sens. Ted Cruz
, R-Texas, Mike Lee
, R-Utah, and Marco Rubio
, R-Fla., came out to support the conservative movement Thursday
at the Road to Majority Conference.
"Awakening and energizing the American people," Cruz said to the crowd. "I believe, I am convicnced we are going to pull the United States of America back from the precipice, back from the abyss."
Rubio took to the stage to say, "The policies of this administration aren't just wrong. They are relics of an age that's come and gone.
The Road to Majority conference put on by the Faith and Freedom Coalition is meant to rally supporters of conservative politics. With the 2014 midterm elections only a few months away, republican lawmakers made their case for taking over the majority in the Senate.
"To enact conservative policies," Lee explained. "We will need majorities in both the House and Senate."
Today is just the start for the three-day conference.
