A Fairfax County man pleaded guilty to using his Virginia company to illegally bundle nearly $200,000 to then-Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaigns.
William P. Danielczyk, of Oakton, pleaded in federal court in Alexandria on Tuesday to a single count of making contributions in the names of others.
Danielczyk, chairman of the McLean-based Galen Capital Group, faces up to five years in prison.
Court records show that Danielczyk engaged in a scheme to reimburse employees of his company for contributions they made to Clinton's 2006 Senate and 2008 presidential campaigns.
A former communications director has pleaded guilty to delivering the reimbursement checks to contributors.
There are no allegations that Clinton acted improperly.
