Virginia gubernatorial candidates Terry McAuliffe and Ken Cuccinelli tried not to make any waves when debate moderator Chuck Todd of NBC News asked if the NFL's Washington Redskins should change its name and whether the candidates believe it is offensive, as some Native Americans protest. They both said it was up to the owners with politicians having no place in a private business decision.
