OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — David Lee will sit out Golden State's game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night because of a bruised right knee.

The All-Star forward said before the game that he's hopeful the swelling in his knee will go down enough for him to start Monday night against the New York Knicks.

Lee was injured when he knocked knees with Thomas Robinson with 4:36 remaining in the first quarter of Golden State's 94-88 loss to Houston on Friday night. He played the second half wearing a white wrap around the knee.

Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova also will sit out against the Warriors with a left knee injury that occurred in a 117-101 loss at the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night. Bucks coach Jim Boylan said Ilyasova is day to day.

Carl Landry was in the starting lineup for Lee, while Mike Dunleavy took Ilyasova's place.
