PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — A maker of components for custom cabinets plans to open a new manufacturing plant in Pueblo, Colo.

The Pueblo Chieftain reports (http://bit.ly/Vy5RKZ) Quinter, Kan.-based Westwind Wood announced its plans Friday. The new plant is expected to employ 91 people at full capacity. Production is expected to start by March 1.

Westwind Wood owner Troy Deaton says he loves southern Colorado. He says the incentives offered and the availability of the workforce were major factors in choosing Pueblo for the plant.
